MOT CLASS 4&7 ANNUAL CPD - ONLINE TRAINING AND TEST

This is a self study online course and assessment to cover the required criteria that all testers must complete and pass an annual assessment between the start of April and the following March each year. To maintain your testing status for the vehicle classes you test, you will be responsible for: Planning and completing your annual training Recording annual training Passing the annual assessment.

Description

From April 2016 the DVSA will no longer be running the MOT Tester Refresher course. Instead this will be replaced with annual training and assessments that all MOT Testers have to complete.

HOW WILL THIS EFFECT ME?

All MOT Testers now have to complete a minimum of 3 hours of Continuous Professional Development (CPD Training) and pass the open-book exam annually.
All testers must complete the new MOT annual training and annual assessment before the end of March each year – Regardless of what their refresher training status is. Failure to do so will affect your MOT Tester status.

Online CPD, we will provide you with access to our online virtual learning environment (VLE) where you can study at your own pace and prepare for the MOT Annual Assessment.

Eligibility

All candidates must be a current MOT tester.

You must also have access to a computer with internet connection as this is a home study course.
